Once there, she'll want to live alone in the house she inherited from her maternal ancestors. While she's trying hard to feel the presence of her daughter in the nature, Françoise contemplates committing a suicide. However, she'll be saved by Édouard (François Papineau), a painter. Besides, it appears that Édouard and Françoise met each other during their adolescence.
