A precocious thirteen-year-old boy (Gattlin Griffith) and his divorced mother (Kate Winslet) are in for a life-changing surprise when they discover that the friendly stranger (Josh Brolin) they meet on Labor Day weekend is an escaped convict, in the new comedy-drama from director Jason Reitman (Up in the Air, Juno).
