Joseph Gordon-Levitt ("RegularJOE") hosts an interactive evening of original short films, live performance and collaborative RECording.
After sell-out performances in London, Los Angeles and New York City, hitRECord comes to TIFF for an evening of movie watching and movie making.
Founded and directed by Joseph Gordon-Levitt (known for his starring roles in films such as 500 Days of Summer, Inception and the upcoming 50/50, which will premiere at this year’s TIFF), hitRECord.org is an open collaborative production company where a global online community of over 50,000 artists (and growing) upload their work in various media: audio, video, images and text. Joe then directs ‘RECorders’ to refine, revise and remix each other's contributions and collaborate. At hitRECord live-events, Gordon-Levitt presents these collaborative works, while simultaneously using the live setting to interact, collaborate and create new works with the audience.
