The Toronto International Film Festival will present a free screening of the 2009 Cadillac People’s Choice Award winning film on the closing night, September 19th.

Voted on by Festival audiences, the Cadillac People's Choice Award winner will be announced on the afternoon of September 19, 2009.

Previous People’s Choice Award winners include Slumdog Millionaire (Danny Boyle, 2008), Eastern Promises (David Cronenberg, 2007), Bella (Alejandro Gomez Monteverde, 2006), Tsotsi (Gavin Hood, 2005) and Hotel Rwanda (Terry George, 2004).

The screening will take place at 9 pm in the Visa Screening Room at the Elgin Theatre.

Tickets for the free screening of the Cadillac People’s Choice Award-winning film will be available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 7 pm on September 19 at the box office for the Visa Screening Room at the Elgin Theatre.
