Nick Fraser (BBC’s Storyville) and Mette Hoffman Meyer (DRTV/Denmark) discuss the ambitious international documentary series "Why Poverty?" coming this fall. They will present the world premiere of one film from the series, Solar Mama, directed by Jehane Noujaim and Mona Eldaief, which follows an illiterate mother from Jordan to a school in India that trains impoverished women in technology for solar energy.
